Union Public Service Commission has declared the written result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2026 on the official website. The CDS (I) 2026 written examination was conducted on 12 April 2026 by the UPSC. A total of 8,826 candidates have qualified for the next stage, which is the SSB Interview conducted by the Ministry of Defence.  Qualified candidates will be considered for admission into Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy for both men and women courses.

Candidates selection is provisional and they must submit their original documents  to the concerned defence headquarters before the prescribed dates. The marks-sheet and cut-off marks of candidates will be declare within 15 days after conducting SSB Interview and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
